Ideas are great
Prototypes are better

Why is this here?

I have a passion for learning, and building out my ideas into something tangible. This site focuses on sharing my knowledge and experience from personal projects with others. I’ll do my best to show some of the steps I took. Most projects involve electronic design, woodworking, motorcycles, or anything else I’m learning at the moment.

If you would like more details on how things were done, feel free to reach out.

Turned wooden bowl made from Oregon White Oak and Purple Heart
A cross section of this bowl would show the outline of a heart which is a tribute to the wood it’s made from. Oregon White Oak and Purple Heart. To start, I stacked and glued different 1x2 boards together. Then, I sliced it up like a loaf of bread, and flipped each slice to get the alternating pattern. Put the slices on a lathe and turned it into a bowl.
